ABOUT THE CAUSE

As part of the 2.6 National Challenge 52 members of the local community who live and work in Southall are taking part in a 26km relay event around Southall (with social distancing in place) highlighting key buildings, sharing our history and celebrating with you what we like about living and working in our town. Times have been tough and we have lost many lives to this horrible disease. In the midst of this, we hope to bring a little smile to everyone’s faces as individuals demonstrate a range of ways to keep fit and active for our health and wellbeing.
We will be raising money for the NHS Charities Together Charity (Covid 19 Response) and Hope for Southall Street Homeless. Both these charities need our support at this difficult time as they battle with both the current and future challenges brought on by the Coronavirus. It's our small way of saying thank you to all those key workers and volunteers that have stepped up during this crisis to make a difference. We Salute You.
